The most requested job we do. A tub nobody has used in years becomes a proper walk-in shower, with a low or curbless entry if you are planning to stay in the house.

The part you cannot see is the part that matters. Proper pre-slope and pan, bonded waterproofing, movement joints where they belong. Tile fails at the waterproofing long before it fails at the tile.

Vanity, countertop, sink, faucet, toilet, mirror, lighting and hardware. Often the fastest visible change in the room, and a sensible standalone job if the tile is still sound.

When the tub is structurally fine but looks tired, resurfacing costs a fraction of replacement and takes a day instead of a week. We will tell you honestly when it is the better buy.

Bathroom quotes vary wildly between contractors and homeowners rarely get told why. Here is what genuinely changes the number, so you can read any quote you receive, including ours.
Build your estimate onlineKeeping the toilet, tub and sink where they are is dramatically cheaper than relocating them. Moving a drain means opening the floor, and on a slab foundation that means cutting concrete. If the layout works, leaving it alone is the single biggest saving available to you.
A large-format porcelain laid straight is a fraction of the labour of a small hex or a herringbone set on a diagonal. Natural stone adds sealing and extra care. The tile you fall in love with can swing the labour line more than the material line.
A prefabricated base drops in and is far cheaper. A mud-set, fully waterproofed custom pan is what a curbless or oversized shower requires. Both are correct in the right place, and we will say which one your room needs.
Old bathrooms hide soft subfloor, rotten studs and failed wax rings. We cannot see through tile before demo, so anything structural is called out the moment we find it, in writing, with a price, before we carry on. You will never get a surprise on the final invoice.

A full gut of a standard hall bath is usually two to three weeks of working days. A tub-to-shower conversion is often about one week. Vanity and fixture swaps are frequently done in a day or two. Tile and waterproofing need real cure time, and rushing it is how showers fail, so we build that into the schedule rather than around it.
Not the one being remodelled. If it is your only bathroom we will tell you that straight and plan the sequence to shorten the window as far as possible, usually by staging materials before demo so there is no waiting mid-job. Most homes have a second bathroom and it is a non-issue.

Yes, and we will also tell you when it is not worth it. On a slab foundation, relocating a drain means cutting and repouring concrete. Sometimes the new layout is worth every dollar. Often a smarter fixture choice gets you most of the benefit for a fraction of the cost, and you deserve to hear that before you commit.
Like-for-like fixture replacement and cosmetic work generally do not. Moving plumbing or electrical, or altering structure, generally do. We handle the permitting where it is required rather than leaving it on you, and we would rather pull one than have it surface when you sell the house.
